Treat Sledge Queen as a Castle boss, not an Agent build
Sledge Queen, often shortened to SQ, is a named boss associated with the Castle and Raiders. Decide whether the optional risk serves the run before entering or pulling threats from that area.
Plan the approach, a controlled fighting space, and the return route before anyone begins the engagement.
02
Prepare for a mixed close-range and explosive kit
Her pressure is not just a hammer swing. Preparation must account for Knuckleboom movement and force, defensive responses such as blocking, close melee pressure, and grenades that punish a static group.
Her hammer is not a fireable Decimator, so do not import player-weapon assumptions into the boss read.
- Keep spacing that leaves a dodge route
- Do not stack the whole squad on one explosive target
- Watch the boss animation instead of committing to a fixed damage race
03
Plan the pull, fight, and extraction as one operation
HOLO-based pulls and other community strategies are tools for controlling aggro, not guarantees. Confirm who initiates, where the team will fight, what equipment is reserved, and which route remains clear after the kill.
Castle conditions and rewards can be version-sensitive, so check the current encounter before basing the run's economy on a remembered drop.
- Clear unrelated pressure before the pull
- Break contact if the fighting space collapses
- Collect rewards only after the escape lane is safe
